Hi, I'm Rosario.

It all started 7 years ago, with a simple yet revolutionary idea for Trapani: elevate the hamburger to a high-quality dish. The inspiration? A culinary experience away from home that showed me the potential of a burger made with local products and a genuine philosophy.

But the decision on where to bring this vision was clear from the start: here, in our beloved Trapani. It's here that we decided to open the restaurant, taking the first steps and building a loyal clientele right in our city.

The name "iò" is a sincere tribute to Trapani: it's the way you say "io" in the Trapani dialect, a gesture of gratitude and belonging to this land that inspired us.

From day one, our mission has been clear: to dispel the myth that a hamburger is just a "tomato and cheddar sandwich."
